‘Eight Years On’

My latest exhibition, ‘Eight Years On’ has opened at Lerwick Museum and Archive’s exhibition space, ‘Da Gadderie.  This show features recent explorations into the moorland and lochs of West Burrafirth.  It also includes ‘Innri’, my 1.6m x 2.4m oil painting of sea cliffs painted on two canvases.

The show runs from 22nd June – 27th July.

Art Fair, May 2018

This brand new painting of cliffs at Westerwick on Shetland and others will be displayed on the Lighthouse Gallery’s stall at the Hampstead Affordable Art Fair which runs from 10th to 13th May.

Lancashire Life Landscape Artist of the Year

My painting All The Lights Green has got me onto the shortlist of three for the Lancashire Life Landscape Artist of the Year. There will be a presentation at the Hepplestone Fine Art Gallery at some point and I will update this entry as soon as I have that information.

Exhibition at Da Gadderie, Shetland

I’m currently working towards a second solo exhibition to be held at Da Gadderie, Lerwick Museum and Archive on Shetland. Part of the focus of this show will be land locked tarns and more of the interior of the islands. Coastal cliffs will also feature as I have decided to follow my long held desire, to some extent, to put together of body of work based on the island of Muckle Roe.
